First Iran Sea-Based Economy International Matchmaking Event planned

 

The first International Matchmaking Event in Iran's Maritime Economy (ISBE 2024) will take place on Qeshm Island from May 16-18, 2024.

Designed as a platform for business matching (B2B) and collaboration, the event will bring together stakeholders from the maritime economy to explore opportunities, address challenges, and identify solutions for sustainable utilization of marine resources and expanses to drive economic growth, enhance livelihoods, and generate employment.

Organized jointly by the Supreme Council of Maritime Industries of Iran and the Qeshm Free Zone, the event will feature specialized workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities for Iranian companies seeking partnerships in areas such as Combined transport, Maritime logistics, Shipping, Shipbuilding, Offshore structures, Oil and gas exploration, extraction, and transportation, Bunkering and fuel supply services for vessels, Port services, Customs, Fisheries and aquaculture, and Marine tourism and recreation.

In addition to above-mentioned conference and sessions, an exhibition and site visit to the port of Qeshm Island facilities have been planned for this event.
