Azerbaijan will host the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change from November 11 to 22.

This significant international event aims to explore solutions to combat global warming and preserve the planet.

Delegates from various countries will gather to discuss the challenges posed by climate change and seek joint solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the adverse effects of climate change.

Estimates suggest that addressing climate change globally requires around $500 billion in investments. This figure highlights the need for extensive cooperation and substantial investments to tackle this global challenge.

It's worth noting that Azerbaijan shares a border with Iran, and hosting this important event in the country provides a valuable opportunity for regional cooperation in the fields of environment and combating climate change.
