The Zagros Hydroponic Greenhouse in Jafarabad county was inaugurated with the presence of the Minister of Agriculture during the government's provincial visit to the holy city of Qom.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture's official website, this greenhouse is spread over an area of 10 hectares and has a cultivation area of 5 hectares. 

The Zagros greenhouse has been put into operation with an investment of 1,200 billion rials by the private sector.

The annual production volume of this greenhouse is 1,500 tons of products.

The development of the new phase of the Zagros Hydroponic Greenhouse has begun with a land area of 10 hectares and a cultivation area of 2 hectares, creating direct jobs for 50 people and indirect jobs for 90 people.

The annual production volume of the new phase will be 600 tons.

Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Ali Nikbakht praised the private sector for its investment in the greenhouse and said that the government would continue to support such projects.  

The Zagros Hydroponic Greenhouse is a state-of-the-art facility that uses the latest technology to grow crops. The greenhouse is environmentally friendly and uses less water and energy than traditional greenhouses. It is also expected to be more productive than traditional greenhouses.
