Ankara – The Iranian Ambassador to Turkey said the agricultural sector accounts for 20 percent of the overall trade volume between Tehran and Ankara.

 

Speaking at a meeting of Iranian agricultural and food industry businessmen in Turkey, Mohammad Hassan Habibollahzadeh, said, "Agriculture plays a vital role in the robust economic ties between Iran and Turkey, accounting for over 20% of our bilateral trade”.

 

He further noted that bilateral trade between the two countries surpassed $14 billion in the first nine months of the Iranian calendar year (1403).
