270,000 tons of agricultural products exported from Khorramshahr

Khorramshahr – As announced by a provincial official, some 270,000 tons of agricultural products were exported from
Khorramshahr City, in southwestern Iran, last year.
Last year, some 270,000 tons of agricultural products were shipped out of Khorramshahr Port and the Shalamcheh land border,
Yaser Sharifi, the head of Khorramshahr’s Agriculture Organization, said.
He added that the exports included a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, and dates, primarily destined for Persian Gulf
nations, Iraq, and Russia.
Sharifi stressed that rigorous quality control at the source is critical to maintaining Iran’s export reputation. "Adhering to global
hygiene and safety standards is key to sustaining Iran’s position in international markets," he noted.
