Tehran – Iran has achieved a significant milestone in its egg exports, surpassing 90,000 tons since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20), according to the head of Iran’s Union of Egg-Laying Hen Producers.

The exported eggs have found their way to various markets, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, several Persian Gulf Arab nations, and three African countries, Hamidreza Kashani said.
He added that the country produced 113,000 tons of eggs in the previous Iranian calendar month (September 22-October 21).

“Production is projected to reach 116,000 tons in the current month (ending November 21)”.

Kashani anticipates that the country will export 135,000 tons of eggs by the end of the current Iranian year (late March 2025).
