Iran attends IOC advisory committee meeting

The 62nd meeting of the Advisory Committee of the International Olive Council (IOC) is currently underway in Italy, with representatives from the private sector of IOC member countries discussing olive-related issues.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture's website, Javad Mirarab Razi, who leads the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture’s Olive Project, is attending the meeting virtually as the official representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In his address, the official expressed the hope that member countries would share the results of their research projects in the face of climate change to reduce losses for olive growers, increase production in terms of quantity and quality, and take effective measures to ensure food security.
