TEHRAN – Iran's Minister of Agriculture Gholamreza Nouri, and Brazil's Minister of Environment and Climate Change held talks on the sidelines of a visit to Mongolia, focusing on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in natural resources, forestry, and soil and water conservation.

During the meeting, the two officials reviewed existing capacities for expanding collaboration and stressed the importance of strengthening ties in environmental and natural resource management.

Forestry cooperation, particularly given its economic and social significance, emerged as a key topic. The ministers also discussed soil conservation, watershed management, and the potential for harnessing both countries' expertise in sustainable natural resource management.

The talks further underscored the need to increase technical exchanges and draw on the specialized capacities of both nations in areas such as land and water protection and sustainable resource development.

Both sides agreed to continue consultations to identify new avenues for cooperation and further deepen bilateral relations in these priority areas.
