Iranian Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Ali Nikbakht said the country has turned into an exporter of day-old chicks.

“Iran has transformed from an importer of day-old chicks to an exporter,” Nikbakht said in a televised speech on Tuesday.

He added, “Monthly production of day-old chicks has increased from 110 million to 150 million. Our country is currently exporting both chicken and hatching eggs."
