Tehran – Representatives from Iran’s Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, the International Affairs and Specialized Organizations Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Iran Fisheries Organization, and the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock of the Democratic Republic of the Congo explored avenues for enhanced scientific and agricultural collaboration.

 

During an online meeting last week, discussions focused on the Razi Institute’s readiness to export therapeutic serums to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as its technical capacity to extract snake venom for the production of customized biomedical products suited to local snake species.

 

The institute also expressed its willingness to provide specialized training for Congolese biologists following the commencement of exports.

 

The meeting further covered the Razi Institute’s plans to evaluate and share the results of its veterinary and medical product exports to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, underscoring both sides’ commitment to expanding scientific exchange and strengthening agricultural cooperation.
