Tehran – Iran's tomato exports were valued at $233 million in the Iranian calendar year 1403 (ended March 20), according to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

IRICA also reported a significant 29 percent increase in Iran's overall agricultural exports during the same period, reaching $5.2 billion. The total volume of agricultural exports rose by 11 percent to 7.6 million tons, according to Tehran Times.

Key agricultural exports included pistachios (leading at $1.5 billion), tomatoes ($233 million), and dates ($205 million).
