Signing of Iran-Qatar-Oman Cooperation Agreement in the
field of plant protection and plant quarantine

The council of Ministers agreed to sign an interim agreement
on plant protection between the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and
the governments of Qatar and the Kingdom of Oman.

 According to the
information center of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture, quoting the
government's information base, with the approval of the Council of Ministers,
permission was granted to negotiate, and to sign a cooperation agreement on
plant protection between the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the
governments of Qatar and the Kingdom of Oman.

It is worth mentioning that the mentioned agreement has been
made in order to maintain sustainable infrastructure of crop production and
long-term national interests and food security of the country and in order to
facilitate and accelerate the exchange of agricultural goods and equipment with
and through the mentioned countries.
