Production of 185,000 tons of edible mushrooms in 2021 in
Iran

Gholamreza Taghavi, in a conversation about the production
of edible mushrooms in the country, said: Production of this product is expected
to increase to 185,000 tons in 2022. He then added: The production of edible
mushrooms last year amounted to 181 thousand tons.

Referring to the export of edible mushrooms in the first ten
months of last year, Taghavi said: According to the official statistics of the
Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, 2976 tons worth 3585.3 thousand
dollars were the export of edible mushrooms.

According to him, the export of this product compared to the
same period in the previous year, has increased, in terms of weight by 2005
tons and in terms of value by 2255.8 thousand dollars.
