Joint Meeting Between Iran and the Netherlands in
Technological Development in Horticulture

The first joint meeting of Iran and the Netherlands
regarding the latest achievements in the field of agriculture and greenhouse
cultivation was held by the Biotechnology Development Council of the Vice
President for Science and Technology and in cooperation with the Ministry of
Agriculture-Jahad and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic
of Iran in the Netherlands on May 19.

The meeting, which was held with the aim of promoting the
smart horticulture industry in the country, was attended by a group of
researchers and professors from Wageningen University - the Netherlands, as
well as the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization - Iran
and gave a speech.

The main topics of this meeting were greenhouse gardening,
economic management of greenhouse systems, and management of greenhouse
agricultural support chain.
