Improvement and renovation of more than 39,000 hectares of
tropical orchards in 2021

Zahra Jalili, Moghaddam, Director General of the Office of
Tropical and Semi-Tropical Fruits, said in an interview that the implementation
of orchards and garden improvements based on the goals of the program in 2021
on an area of ​​39,089 hectares was on the agenda.

She also added that: According to the reports received, more
than 155% of the gardening and garden improvement operations with self-help
have been achieved. She then continued and mentioned: Planning for improvement
and renovation of tropical and subtropical gardens, including operations to
improve grade 2 gardens and eliminate old and uneconomical gardens and
replacement with commercial cultivars to improve and increase the quantity and
quality of garden products and increase productivity is on the agenda.
