East Azarbaijan exports over 53,000 tons of agricultural
products 

Over 53,000 tons of agricultural products have been exported
from East Azarbaijan province, in the northwest of Iran, so far during the
current Iranian calendar year 1400 (started March 21, 2023), the head of the
province’s Agriculture Department announced.

So far 53,503 tons of agricultural products have been
exported from East Azarbaijan province, Akbar Fathi said on Monday.

He named 52 European and Asian countries including Russia
and neighboring states as the major destinations of the agricultural products
exported from East Azarbaijan this year.

In this period, 24,529 tons of agricultural products have
been imported into this province, he said.

Greenhouse products, animal byproducts, leathers, hide and
concentrates are of among the major products exported from this province
overseas in the current year, Fathi said.
