Development of 185,000 hectares of new irrigation systems
this year in Iran

Since the beginning of this year, the plan to develop new
irrigation systems has been implemented and put into operation at the level of
53,953 hectares, which is being implemented, and it is running currently at the
level of 131,099 hectares.

Executor of the development plan for new irrigation systems
of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture added: The total area implemented and
being implemented this year is 180,052 hectares, and in the form of 9,251
projects. He also added that: Khorasan Razavi with 8,410 hectares, Fars with
4,626 hectares and southern Kerman with 3,207 hectares have the highest level
of development of new irrigation systems this year.
