Tehran – Iran has dispatched a high-level agricultural delegation to Almaty, Kazakhstan, as part of a strategic effort to expand commercial partnerships and boost exports of Iranian farm produce across the Eurasian region.

 

The official visit, which underscores Tehran's growing focus on regional economic integration, is designed to secure a stronger foothold in specialized agricultural dialogues with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

 

According to informed sources, the Iranian team's participation in the upcoming meetings is expected to unlock new cooperative frameworks, ranging from tariff facilitation to joint investment in agri-food supply chains.

 

The EAEU, comprising key economies in Central Asia and Eastern Europe, is increasingly viewed by Iranian policymakers as a vital gateway for agricultural export growth and broader economic collaboration, offering both market access and strategic leverage in a shifting global trade landscape.
