Tehran - Iran’s Minister of Agricultural announced that domestic production accounts for 90 percent of the country’s red meat needs, stressing that the production and distribution process is proceeding without any delays or interruptions amid the ongoing war.

 

Speaking on Monday during a visit to a red meat production facility, Gholamreza Nouri said, “The country’s annual red meat consumption stands at approximately 1.07 million tons. Of this, around 90 percent is supplied through domestic production, while the remaining 10 percent is met via imports.”

 

The minister’s remarks underscored the favorable state of strategic and precautionary reserves, reaffirming stability in the supply chain.
