Iran to produce 1.3m tons of eggs by year end, official
says 

Iran will have the capacity to produce 1.3 million tons of
eggs by the year-end, an official with the country’s Ministry of Agriculture
said. 

“Our egg output will exceed 1.3
million tons by year-end, and this would give a boost to Iran’s global
ranking,” Mohammad Ebrahim Hassan-Nejad said on Saturday.

We can attain the 9th ranking position in the world, he
said. 

Some 90,000 tons of eggs were exported from Iran in the
first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 21),
according to the public relations office of the Ministry.
