Khorsan Razavi – The first ready-made honeybee feed factory in Khorsan Razavi province has been launched in the city of Neyshabur, situated some 70 km west of Mashhad, according to a provincial official.

 

Ali Mobaraki, the head of the Neyshabur Agricultural Department, announced the launch of the province’s first ready-made honeybee feed factory, marking a significant step for the region’s growing beekeeping industry.

 

“The facility, located in Soltanabad village in the Fazl Rural District, has an annual production capacity of 2,500 tons.”

 

The plant produces a range of specialized honeybee feed products—including sweet paste, pollen cake, and irradiated pollen—and is designed to expand its output in response to rising demand, he said.

 

Mobaraki emphasized that the factory uses high-quality raw materials and follows strict hygiene protocols and technical standards to ensure consistent, reliable feed for beekeepers. “Years of experience, technical expertise, and scientific research support the quality of the products manufactured here,” he said.

 

Established with 400 billion rials in private investment, the facility has created 14 direct jobs. Its products - such as 10% pollen cake, sweet paste, and irradiated pollen - are being shipped to provinces across the country.
