Iran, Africa focus on agricultural collaboration for economic growt

Tehran - The Iranian Minister of Agriculture underscored the vast opportunities for increased bilateral trade and the exchange of agricultural technology between Iran and African nations.
"Agriculture is the key to unlocking deeper economic and cultural ties between Iran and Africa," Nouri, addressing the third Iran-Africa Cooperation Summit, said emphasizing the potential to enhance food security and drive economic expansion across both continents.
“Iran has signaled its commitment to sharing sophisticated agricultural advancements with African partners. These offerings include drought-resistant crop varieties, water-efficient drip irrigation systems, and cost-effective agricultural machinery,” he added.
The minister added, “The cooperative framework encompasses joint ventures in agricultural production, technology transfer programs, collaborative research and development, and the alignment of quality standards to streamline trade processes.”
