Tehran - The Ministry of Agriculture has officially ushered in the new crop year with a national gathering of senior directors at the Summit Conference Hall in Tehran.

 

The annual ceremony, held at the start of the planting season, is more than a symbolic milestone as it sets the direction for agricultural policy, production goals, and resource allocation for the year ahead.

 

The two-day conference also serves as a forum to review last year’s achievements and challenges, while outlining strategies to improve productivity, strengthen supply chains, and enhance Iran’s position in regional and global agricultural markets.

 

By linking tradition with innovation, the Ministry has underscored that the new crop year is not only a turning point for farmers but also a national opportunity to advance sustainable growth and reduce dependence on imports.
